Full Description:
This charming 1885 Victorian beauty listed on the National Register of Historic Places and nestled in the Pikes Peak mountain village of Cascade. This is the perfect headquarters for a Colorado vacation or quiet business retreat. Located just six miles west of Colorado Springs, only fifteen minutes from downtown, Eastholme is midway between the Air Force Academy and Cripple Creek, making it convenient to any destination.
Designated a Ute Pass landmark by the 1976 Bicentennial Committee, Eastholme is the oldest of a group of resort hotels that once flourished between scenic Manitou Springs and Cripple Creek. Nominated to the National Register of Historic Places in August of 1998. Authentically restored and furnished with antiques, Eastholme was the sole recipient of Colorado's Historical Preservation Award for 1989. Notable guests have included Dwight and Mamie Eisenhower, and according to local legend, a European king stayed here during Eastholme's early history
