Full Description:
Situated on a knoll overlooking Chipita Lake, the lodge has been carefully restored and converted into a Bed and Breakfast Inn.
Designated as a Ute Pass landmark, Chipita Lodge offers modern amenities in a rustic Colorado setting.
Located at the base of Pikes Peak, this historic lodge was built in 1927 of native logs and stone. Only eight miles west of Colorado Springs, Chipita Lodge once served as a general store, post office, community center and land development office.
Additional buildings on the property include a stone structure which housed Chipita Park's first fire truck, and the remains of an ice house where ice from Chipita Lake was stored for later transport, by rail, to Colorado Springs
Guests are treated to a full breakfast, either in the lodge or on the deck overlooking the lake, afternoon refreshments and an evening treat. Enjoy the cool mountain breezes while soaking in the hot tub under the stars, or evening conversation in front of the stone fireplace in the gathering room. Be pampered at Chipita Lodge while exploring all the Pikes Peak region has to offer.
