Full Description:
The Sealark is a beautifully restored Victorian home that was built in the late 1800's, by Elizabeth Bonsall, a wealthy Philadelphia widow. One of the original great houses on First Avenue in the old Peermont development, we believe the Sealark was first utilized as a guesthouse in the 1940's. It was truly an old-fashioned guesthouse in that the families who lived here rented out some of the rooms to those on limited funds who wanted a weekend at "the shore".
