After breakfast, let us help you to plan your day. Visit the educational and cultural centers of Providence, which has recently
been rated as the nation's number one city in which to reside in North Eastern America. Or travel southward and visit Newport's museums and mansions. Enjoy the Jazz Festival, shopping and the seafood. And, if you have a passion for shopping, spend your days 'saving money' at such renowned outlets as nearby Fall River and Wrenthan, each home to over 100 fine named stores.
Of course, Hearth House's location makes it a desirable place to stay if you are visiting Roger Williams University, Rhode Island School of Design, Brown University or the many other institutions of higher learning that abound in our area.
Many of our guests are here for a totally relaxing stay. Those guests will be relieved to find that Antique shops are many and varied in Warren, 5 minutes to our North, and plentiful right here in town. Stroll to Linden Place or one of our 8 historic museums, artistic shops, or Blithewold Mansion, Gardens and Arboretum.
Visit Colt State Park, only a few minutes drive from our front door. This idyllic setting is perfect in all seasons. In the Summer, bask on its extensive beaches and enjoy the evening concerts. In Autumn, enjoy walking its path of golden foliage. In Winter, snow lovers can snow-shoe or cross-country ski, and spring brings its rebirth of flowers and trees for all to enjoy.
