Full Description:
Beneath steep, eroded walls along the San Juan River lies tiny, historic Bluff (pop. 300). On The Bluff City Historic Loop, Calf Canyon Bed and Breakfast is a new Pioneer-style building with three upstairs corner guest rooms, each with private, full bath. Navajo rugs and original artwork compliment views. Guests explore archaeological sites; ride horseback up Cottonwood Wash; raft downstream through the ?Goosenecks?; and use Bluff as base camp for explorations into the wild outback, or out onto the great Navajo Reservation. Breakfasts, served in the dining area overlooking the shaded patio, feature juice, seasonal fruits, specialty entrees, homemade breads and fresh ground coffee or brewed tea.
