Mount Maple of Wickford is an exquisite early Victorian country home circa 1862. Graced with a unique veranda and expansive front lawn, Mount Maple offers a sense of peace and relaxation. The house has been beautifully restored with antique furnishings, period decor and all the modern comforts guests come to expect.
Mount Maple offers air-conditioned rooms with queen- and twin-size beds and private baths. For romantic occasions, request the "Gold Room" with its lovely four-poster canopy bed (see DETAILS below). Also available is a kitchenette suite which sleeps four. In the morning, awaken to a full breakfast in the "Au Jardin" dining room.
From its picturesque harbor to authentic colonial homes, Historic Wickford Village is an attraction unto itself. Some come in search of the rare antique, others for the perfect gift. With over forty shops filled with unique and distinctive offerings from New England and around the world, Wickford is truly a shopper's delight. The town is also renowned for the annual Wickford Art Festival. In December the Festival of Lights warms the hearts of holiday shoppers, while the Quonset Computer & Technology Show, Quonset Air Show, and International Quahog Festival always turn out great crowds.
