The Victorian Jewel has been updated with some of the finest features you will find at any bed and breakfast on the Eastern Shore. You will not only enjoy the modern comforts, but relax and enjoy its old Victorian charm.
During the summer you can relax by our beautiful inground pool, or sit in our Victorian Gazebo and enjoy the garden and pond. Toward the rear of the pool stand our 2,400 sq. ft. carriage house where you can play a game of billiards or enjoy a tour of our scale train room which features a 30 ft. by 25 ft. train Layout (Carriage House open in season only).
We have bikes for you to enjoy during your stay, we also have beach chairs to loan for your stay on the beach. Each suite has a guest refrigerator, heart shaped whirlpool tub built for two, A TV and VCR in each suite with a DVD player and fireplace in the Governors suite. There is a large video collection located in our library so you can enjoy one of your favorite movies in your room. We also have a collection of board games for those rainy days. A beautiful restored Stienway piano is located in our reception room and we encourage you to play.
Our formal dinning room is where you will enjoy a tasty homemade breakfast prepared and surved buffet style! Many antiques are on display here including an Edison Cylinder Phonograph and even a piece of coal from the Titanic. The beautiful solid oak dinning room table was purchased from the Henery Ford Foundation in the early 1990's and was once on display at the Henery Ford Museum
