Full Description:
Castlemaine Inn has been awarded three diamonds by AAA and three stars by Mobil Guide. Castlemaine B&B is an historic delightfully old rambling inn built by George Newman in 1886. It later became the summer residence of the Austro-Hungarian ambassador and his wife, the Baron and Baroness Hengelmueler. We invite you to enjoy the elegantly appointed rooms and suites all with in-room private baths, cable TV, DVD/VCR air conditioning, king or queen bed, and decorated with fine linens. Most rooms have whirlpools, balconies, and fireplaces and mini-refrigerators. Antiques are throughout the inn. We are located in-town on a quiet side street only one block to the ocean and four blocks to Main Street. Our bed and breakfast inn is a quiet and relaxing 19th century home that will make your vacation a memorable retreat. We have free local phone, fax service and off-street parking. The building is continually being worked on; major renovations were completed in 2005. Also, the building is protected by a sprinkler system.
